Benefits Manager
Job Overview
We’re seeking a Benefits Manager to lead the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit programs that support our values and attract and retain top talent. This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends leadership, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cycle of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), voluntary benefits and wellness programs.
- Evaluate and recommend benefit plan designs, vendors, and cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
- Lead annual open enrollment and benefits communication strategies.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to align benefits strategy with organizational goals.
- Analyze benefit metrics and market trends to enhance program effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, and vendors.
- Support employee inquiries and escalations with empathy and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration; 2+ years in a benefits title role.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits laws and best practices.
- Experience with ADP is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
