POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for selling new Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Trailers, Buses, and/or Equipment in accordance with the Dealership AOR and market share objectives. Promotes all product lines for Worldwide Equipment while providing a best-in-class customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieves sales expectations and profitability objectives in accordance to approved plan and following the IMPACT sales process.
- Develops and maintains positive, win/win relationships with assigned customers
- Prospects new customers using a variety of proven methods.
- Demonstrates trucks to customers, including test drives.
- Prepares/submits outside sales call reports and other documents as needed.
- Represents the company in approved industry and other related events.
- Maintains training requirements and stays current on state laws and regulations.
- Maintains knowledge of product performance, specifications and applications
- Fosters teamwork within the department and with all other departments
- Promotes the “WE” brand “The Truck People” / “The Bus People”
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Sales training and/or additional related industry training is preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years related Sales experience, including a demonstrated track record of building sales territory and a satisfied customer base.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- CDL License preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications with a wide audience.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to customers and all internal and external audiences.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
Monday through Friday with a rotating Saturday Schedule.
