About the Role
The LPN Weekend Option at Aspen Trace is a vital position that ensures the highest quality of care for our residents during the weekends. This role involves providing nursing care, administering medications, and monitoring patient health to promote optimal recovery and well-being. The LPN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Additionally, the LPN will serve as a key point of contact for residents and their families, addressing concerns and providing education about health management. Ultimately, this position plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
- Basic knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
