Overview
The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a global team within Mastercard that delivers high‑quality research to support Advisors and Consulting Services client engagements. ARC partners with consulting teams and stakeholders to design and deliver primary research that informs strategic decision‑making for our clients.
Global Facilities India (GFI) supports ARC globally by providing scalable quantitative research delivery across studies. This role sits within the ARC Quant Research capability in GFI and focuses on driving high-quality research execution and strengthening how research is delivered and evolved across projects.
Role:
As a Senior Research Manager – Quantitative Primary Market Research and Innovation, you will lead end-to-end quantitative research workstreams while helping shape how research is analyzed, reported, and evolved across ARC.
This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced quantitative primary researcher who combines strong methodological grounding with clear storytelling and a forward-looking view of the industry.
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings strong ownership of quantitative research delivery from design through reporting
- Stays current with trends in market research, AI, and emerging tools, and applies this thinking to real projects
- Is comfortable experimenting with new approaches and translating them into practical applications
Key responsibilities include:
Quantitative Research Delivery & Reporting Leadership
- Lead and oversee end-to-end quantitative research workstreams across global and regional studies, ensuring methodological quality, timely delivery, and strong stakeholder alignment
- Own data analysis, insight generation, and client-ready reporting- translating complex quantitative findings into clear narratives, visuals, and actionable implications
- Guide fieldwork execution, sample management, quality controls, and data readiness in partnership with panel, scripting, and data processing teams
- Develop high-quality, client ready reporting outputs, including presentations, dashboards, and visualization frameworks that improve the consistency and impact of research storytelling
- Coach junior researchers and project teams on analysis approaches, reporting standards, and best practices
Data Innovation & Research Process Improvement
- Lead or contribute to initiatives that push how research is designed, analyzed, and delivered — including experimentation with new approaches, frameworks, and technologies
- Bring awareness of emerging trends in market research, AI, and data/analytics, and translate them into practical pilots or applications within ARC
- Partner with research, data, and visualization teams to explore and embed new ideas into live projects where relevant
- Contribute to building ARC’s point of view on the future of research — through experimentation, knowledge sharing, and refining best practices over time
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 10–12 years of experience in primary market research (quantitative), ideally within an agency, consulting, or insights environment with global exposure
- Strong command of survey research — questionnaire design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting — and tools such as SPSS, Q, DisplayR, Power BI, or similar
- Experience across advanced quant methodologies: segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint, drivers analysis, trackers, concept testing, or similar
- Practical experience applying AI-enabled or automated solutions within research, analytics, reporting, or data management
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with strong capability in research storytelling and executive-ready communication
- Solid project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multiple workstreams across complex engagements
What We’re Looking For
- A hands-on quantitative researcher with the judgment to balance methodological rigor, business relevance, and practical delivery
- Innovative and systems-minded — thinks about how research is structured, scaled, and reused, not just how it's delivered
- A strong communicator who can make research outputs land with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative, structured, and proactive — with a track record of improving team ways of working
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor or people leader while staying close to the work
