The Integration Platform Architect is a strategic technical leader focused on building enterprise integration capabilities and shaping the organization’s integration strategy. In this role, you will define and evolve integration patterns, standards, and reference architectures that enable scalable, reusable, and consistent solutions across platforms and product lines.
You will contribute to the development of a cohesive integration vision, guiding teams in adopting best practices and modern integration approaches. Acting as a mentor and advisor, you will strengthen engineering capabilities, promote reuse, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

Drives the development of enterprise integration capabilities by defining and evolving integration patterns, standards, and reference architectures, with a strong focus on API-led and MCP-based integration. Guides teams in adopting reusable patterns and platform best practices, acting as a coach and architectural authority. Shapes and supports medium to large initiatives by ensuring alignment with integration strategy and platform principles.Stakeholder Management
Engages effectively with complex stakeholder ecosystems, aligning business and technology needs with integration platform strategy. Influences decision-making through clear architectural guidance, promotes API-first thinking, and fosters adoption of standardized integration approaches across domains.Impact / Strategy
Contributes to the definition and evolution of the enterprise integration strategy, including API management and MCP capabilities. Drives knowledge sharing, promotes best practices, and supports communities of practice and Centers of Excellence to strengthen integration maturity and consistency across the organization.Complexity / (Product Size)
Operates at the Product Line, Domain, or Enterprise level, shaping integration approaches that scale across multiple systems, platforms, and teams. Ensures consistency and reuse through well-defined patterns and governance.Business / Technical Ability
Deep expertise in API-led architecture, integration platforms, and modern integration paradigms (e.g., event-driven, microservices, MCP). Builds organizational capability through mentorship, reusable assets, and thought leadership. Identifies architectural risks and ensures sustainable, scalable integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Demonstrated experience shaping enterprise integration capabilities and contributing to integration strategy across medium to large-scale initiatives.
Proven track record in defining and promoting integration patterns, API-led approaches, and MCP-based solutions across multiple teams or domains.
Experience building organizational capability through knowledge sharing, Communities of Practice, or Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in API-led architecture, API management, and modern integration paradigms (e.g., event-driven, microservices, MCP).
Hands-on experience with integration platforms and the ability to define reusable patterns, standards, and reference architectures.
Proven ability to contribute to and evolve enterprise integration frameworks, ensuring scalability, consistency, and reuse.
Additional Qualifications
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align business and technology around integration platform strategy and API-first principles.
Ability to mentor and guide teams in adopting integration best practices, fostering capability growth and engineering maturity.
Proactive in identifying architectural risks and ensuring sustainable, governed integration approaches across the platform landscape.
