Job Description

Position Purpose: 

The Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for ensuring process control in accordance with JTI standards, statistical analysis for quality (& production) data, driving process improvements to address quality incidents, effective participation in Quality Pillar and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) within the ASP framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management & Statistical Analysis:
  • Manage and confirm data collection and analysis in the available quality systems, ensuring accurate reporting and quality insights.
  • Own the reporting process and updates of key metrics for the quality areas.
  1. Action Planning & Execution:
  • Develop action plans with the team and drive action implementation with the manufacturing and supporting departments.
  • Participate in and support key quality improvement activities and/or projects. 
  1. Coaching & Capabilities Building:
  • Coach team members in line with the Quality and IWS (Integrated Work System) principles.
  • Build quality areas knowledge within operating teams to support the quality improvement enhancement and standards creation. 
  1. Support Continuous Improvement & Safety Culture:
  • Train and develop teams to enable self-sufficient operations.
  • Contribute to capability building across quality and manufacturing departments to achieve the business objectives in a safety manner.
  1. Other duties:
  • Manage additional projects and/or tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager

Qualifications & Experience: 

Education: Secondary education in a technical field.

Work Experience: 3+ years working in a similar role or similar industry, knowledge in methods of solving problems in teams, root cause analysis, statistical process control and FDA/ISO standards knowledge.

Language: Fluency in English (oral and written).

Skills: Analytical Thinking, Time Management, Multitasking, Effective Communication, Statistical Analysis & Problem Solving; Good Computer knowledge (Microsoft Package, SAP, Master Control, LIMS, Veeva, QIMS)
