Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Production Analyst is responsible for monthly stock counting and inventory reconciliation, as well as transparent calculations of all Manufacturing KPI achievements and planning during the annual ASP (Annual Strategic Plan) process.
This position regularly performs reject ratio and overall efficiency analysis for production lines, tobacco and non-tobacco materials consumption analyses and submits recommendations for improvement. Prepares and provides detailed analytical reports on the main indicators of the production process. Analyzes production processes, makes optimization proposals. Administrate and support production systems: Oracle, SAP, GLA, GSCA Machinery / KPI, QIMS, MOM, SmartSens and other information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support data collection on monthly basis from all departments for all KPI's, ensure regular maintenance of corresponding parts of GSCA and checking of data discrepancies. Providing data and aligning targets for key production performance indicators during LE/ APSP periods based on analysis and achievements, considering the factors impacting the setting of targets. Action Planning & Execution:
- Develop, make and share achievements of manufacturing KPI's on daily, weekly, monthly basis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, instilling a zero-loss mindset and driving work process improvement initiatives. Inform the personnel involved in a timely manner about consumption and losses of tobacco and non-tobacco materials in the process, propose solutions in order to improve and reduce it, keep track of planned and MP related stoppages downtime, find and suggest ways to optimize.
- Develop and prepare insightful dashboards to address critical production performance issues. Deep dive into manufacturing losses, analyze the root causes, and propose effective solutions for follow-up. Leads initiatives to reduce reject rates and material waste. Analyzes existing processes (accounting and registration downtimes, tobacco and non-tobacco material movement, close the months), reveals areas where there're a discrepancy and provides solutions to improve it. Updates, develops and implements procedures and instructions in accordance with JTI standards, ISO requirements. Supports all internal and external audits execution and ensure sustainability of all systems in production.
- Ensure uninterrupted production operation being in the role of Power User perform administration and support applications and systems: SAP, GLA, GSCA Machinery / KPI, QIMS, SmartSens and other information systems. Configure systems, troubleshoot errors, register discrepancies on the IT portal, coordinate error correction, suggest solutions.
- Track actual consumption of Tobacco and NTM, ensure monthly adjustments in SAP reflect the true consumption from inventories and correction of COGI. Keep track of the actual performance of the production program (equipment / assortment).
- Manage additional projects and/or tasks as assigned Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technically related field. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Work Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in production processes, preferably in cigarette or food industry. Experience in problem solving, analytics and bringing valuable insights to drive improvements. Familiar with SAP Shopfloor / Inventory Movement procedures, IWS (Integrated Work System), root cause analysis, statistical process control and ISO standards preferred.
Language: Fluency in English (oral and written).
Skills: Advanced PC skills (MS Office applications), PowerBI experience, SAP and preferable knowledge in Production Planning and Budget Preparation Process.
