BAE Systems is seeking a Program Manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).
The program manager will work with a highly skilled team providing planning, scheduling, and technical support to the government customer for major program integration and execution activities. Candidate will oversee different Data Management initiatives, monitor progress, and ensure completion within deadlines. Candidate will provide the Sentinel program support in the daily use of data systems and assist with data extraction and reports as needed. What are some of the day-to-day activities? Product lifecycle management, CM/DM and CDRL oversight, contract execution management, contractor incentives management, affordability and life cycle cost reduction, IPMDAR & control account reviews, PMRs, and government furnished property coordination, RFI and CRM resolution – to name a few.

Why SENTINEL? The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex “Mega-Project” modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. Without any doubt, Sentinel is one of the DoD’s most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. Sentinel is the Department of Defense’s newest official “program of record,” having achieved Milestone B. It enjoys broad, strong support at the national level. It is a long-term project -- the weapon system will deploy over a nine-year period beginning in approximately 2026, and remain operational until at least 2075. Sentinel is a career-defining program that will present unique and challenging opportunities that simply are not available with smaller projects.

Bachelor's degree and 6 years work experience.
Understanding of data administration and management functions.
Experience drafting, routing and interpreting Contracting Authority correspondence.
Experience using Team Center.
Experience working across multiple levels of network classifications and environments.
Must have current Secret security clearance (adjudicated within the past 6 years) or higher and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and all required Special Program accesses.
Highly analytical and organized.
Ability to align or realign deliverables with program needs/outcomes.
CRM/RFI resolution and processing.
Cross-project resource management.
Outstanding planning, resource, and stakeholder management.
Experience in dealing with Executive Leadership.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $107359 - $182510
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
