Job Description
The Functional Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the strategic liaison between the Finance, Facilities, and Supply Chain functions at BAE Systems and the Information Technology organization, aligning technology capabilities with functional priorities and enabling secure, efficient delivery of major technology initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the multi-year business capability and technology roadmap for assigned functions.
- Operate the full demand intake, shaping, and prioritization process for supported functions.
- Jointly shape programs with sector BRMs, PMO, Architecture, Cyber, and Value Stream Owners.
- Ensure roadmap alignment with sector needs; reconcile priority conflicts.
- Lead business case creation, benefit hypotheses, KPI definition, and value tracking.
- Drive adherence to CMMC Level 2+ and enterprise cyber compliance.
- Increase adoption of enterprise platforms; establish readiness and change plans.
- Identify and broker standardization opportunities across functions and sectors.
- Resolve delivery barriers and escalate unresolved blockers.
- Improve data visibility and integration across fragmented systems.
- Run a functional BRM scorecard and lead monthly performance reviews.
- Communicate strategy and roadmap decisions with executive-ready materials.
- Build trusted relationships across functions, sectors, PMO, cyber, and IT delivery.
- 12 years experience and Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience supporting executive governance forums, steering committees, implementation readiness activities, and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of enterprise delivery practices, implementation governance, dependency management, and transformation execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, resolve competing priorities, and drive coordinated execution across distributed teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing project managers and teams.
- Masters degreee and 15 years+ work experience
- Experience supporting enterprise headquarters or corporate function initiatives.
- Experience operating within highly matrixed business and technology environments.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks, lifecycle management practices, and enterprise implementation methodologies.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
