Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs cleaning duties in corridors, lobbies, offices, restrooms, classrooms, laboratories, stairs, balconies, stair landings and elevators.
- Sweeps, mops, strips and waxes floors; picks up litter in building areas; cleans light fixtures and windows; change light bulbs; wash walls; clean tiles; dust and polish; and clean stoves, refrigerators and vending appliances.
- Cleans and disinfects rooms, empties trash containers, and sanitizes containers to meet sanitary requirements. Vacuums and spots clean rugs and carpets. Polishes furniture and metal fixtures.
- Reports items requiring service or repair to the Director of Facilities Maintenance. Cleans snow and debris from the front entry steps to buildings.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
QUALIFICATION: High school diploma required.
