HMI Development Engineer (Junior / Associate) – e-Bike Systems

Role Overview
To support our growing HMI team, we are looking for a hands-on and structured engineer who will assist in the development, integration, and release of HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for our e-bikes.
This role focuses on execution and technical support, working closely with the HMI team, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers.
How You'll make an Impact
- Support the development of HMI features from concept to production
- Assist in defining and refining hardware and software requirements
- Support firmware development and validation:
- Assist in implementation and testing of new features
- Help debug and track issues
- Contribute to a smooth transition to production:
- Support end-of-line testing and manufacturing topics
- Track and follow up on production-related issues
- Ensure documentation is complete and up to date
- Assist in release preparation and tracking:
- Maintain release notes and documentation
- Support communication of changes to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional teams:
- Motor, Battery, Digital, Mechanical, and Quality
- Help track dependencies and ensure alignment
- Support testing and validation activities:
- Track bugs and support root cause analysis
- Assist in resolving field issues
- Maintain technical documentation (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
What You’ll Need to Win
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience (or relevant internships) in:
- Embedded systems, firmware, or electronics development
- Consumer electronics, automotive, or similar industries
- Basic knowledge of:
- Embedded systems and firmware development
- Communication protocols (e.g., CAN, BLE, USB)
- Structured and detail-oriented working style
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Fluent in English
