Location: Salisbury, MD (with additional site options)
Position Type: Full-Time 
Schedule: 4 Day, 36-hour Work Week: Monday–Thursday
Salary Range: $48,500–$60,000 annually

HealthPort is hiring a dedicated Psychiatric Residential Supervisor to support our residential programs and ensure high‑quality, person-centered care. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center, HealthPort provides comprehensive outpatient therapy, substance use treatment, and primary care services. Position Summary

The Psychiatric Residential Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing residential program staff while ensuring the highest standards of client care. This role includes staff supervision, coaching, oversight of daily operations, and active involvement in creating and monitoring individualized recovery plans.


Key Responsibilities

Staff Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide direct supervision, monthly coaching, and ongoing skill development for residential team members.
  • Monitor staff scheduling, shift logs, and ensure consistent and adequate staffing coverage.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled observations during day, evening, and weekend hours.

Program & Facility Management

  • Maintain safe, clean, and supportive living and working environments for clients and staff.
  • Oversee home inspections and ensure compliance with program standards.
  • Support client community integration and promote independent living skills development.

Client Support & Compliance

  • Ensure medication is available, properly documented, and managed according to policy.
  • Coordinate client healthcare needs, including appointments and follow-up care.
  • Obtain and maintain authorizations for all client services.
  • Assist in completing individualized, person-centered recovery plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid full driver’s license with a safe driving record.
