Department Overview
The School of Dentistry shares the mission of the Oregon Health & Science University to provide educational programs, basic and clinical research, and quality patient care and community programs. The dental school prepares graduates in general dentistry and the dental specialties to deliver compassionate and ethical oro-facial health care.
Function/Duties of Position
Under direct supervision, primarily provides general administrative support for a project, team, or work unit. Similar to an Office Clerk or Specialist*. May also include some basic data entry and report generation. Stock and maintain materials inventory for pre-doctoral endodontic clinic, inclusive of preparation of solutions for the tooth storage containers and the irrigation syringes.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in a Graduate Program with a minimum of 4.5 credit hours
- Dental Clinic environment experience
- Great communication skills
- Team player
- Duties to be performed during the off-hours of the predoctoral endodontic clinic, inclusive of before clinic starts, between clinic sessions, or after clinic ends
- Universal precautions for Infection Control are to be practiced
