Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is to establish, integrate, and implement a comprehensive Union Engagement Strategy across Lilly. Central to the role is the development of meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships with Unions and other employers, relevant community organizations, in line with business objectives to address the needs of patients.
Additionally, this role will serve as the lead for policy and programmatic priorities, ensuring that external stakeholder strategies (union engagement, third-party advocacy, federal/state access efforts, and support for manufacturing) are fully aligned to Lilly’s priorities.
The Senior Director will ensure alignment and collaboration with Lilly cross-functional colleagues in Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Manufacturing, Value & Access (Employer), Innovation Readiness, and Consumer areas.
Prioritize, build, and maintain trust-based relationships with Unions and related stakeholders.
Develop and expand the bridge between Lilly and external stakeholders. Represent Union/patient voice with Lilly colleagues and represent the Lilly position with partner groups.
Maintain understanding of federal, manufacturing, employer, and CMH objectives, as well as the external environment.
Lead stakeholder mapping and insights generation of the Union environment to identify key relationship and project opportunities. Develop specific strategies and engagement plans.
Be a Lilly ambassador with Union/external stakeholders.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
15 years of experience in construction project management or procurement, labor relations, advocacy, or related fields.

Additional Information:
Domestic travel required (~20%)
Occasional weekend travel

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$154,500 - $248,600Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
