EIP Teacher: Shoal Creek Elementary

Position Overview:

Shoal Creek Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Program (EIP) Teacher to support students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level. The EIP Teacher will provide targeted instruction in reading and/or mathematics to help students build foundational skills and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small group and individualized instruction aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students in need of intervention and develop instructional plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with families and staff.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to support student achievement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (P-5) or related field by issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
• Reading and/or math endorsement preferred.
• Experience working with students in an intervention or support setting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
