Summary of Position

The Specialist I, Learning and Development, supports the administration, coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of Clinical Education and Corporate Compliance learning programs, systems, and processes. This role partners cross-functionally with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support learning initiatives, maintain learning operations, analyze program data and reporting, and ensure learning content, systems, and curricula remain current and aligned with organizational priorities. The role also supports the use of emerging technologies and automation tools to improve learning operations, reporting, and administrative efficiency.

The Specialist I executes assigned projects and operational responsibilities with guidance from leadership while proactively identifying process improvements, escalating risks or issues as appropriate, and supporting an efficient and engaging learner experience. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports administration and maintenance of Clinical Education and Corporate Compliance learning programs, curricula, assignments and reporting with the Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Coordinates learning activities and supports development, updates, testing, and deployment of training materials and e-learning content

  • Maintains learner records, reporting, scorecards, and completion tracking to support compliance and operational reporting needs.

  • Manages and monitors team intake and support requests through the ticketing system, providing tier 1 support and escalating issues as appropriate

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support learning initiatives, curriculum updates, and evolving business requirements.

  • Supports learner communications, program assignments, and engagement activities to promote training awareness and completion.

  • Assists with identifying process improvement and operational efficiency opportunities within learning systems and workflows.

  • Supports the use of approved automation and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, administrative processes, and learning operations efficiency.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • 2+ years of experience in learning and development operations, LMS administration, compliance training support, training coordination, or related field.

  • Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS); Brainshark experience preferred.

  • Experience maintaining learning records, reporting, dashboards, scorecards, or completion tracking.

  • Experience managing support requests, shared inboxes, ticket queues, or operational workflows preferred.

  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning content management preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills preferred.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, research solutions, and escalate appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and AI-enabled productivity tools preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
