Sales Supervisor – Paints & Coatings | Salto, Brazil

As a Sales Supervisor based in Salto, Brazil, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success within Arxada’s Paints & Coatings segment, part of the Microbial Control Solutions business. You will be responsible for accelerating the growth of our biocides and additives portfolio, enabling customers to enhance product performance, durability, and sustainability in coatings applications.

This is a highly commercial and entrepreneurial position where you will actively shape market direction—identifying new opportunities, unlocking application potential, and delivering value-driven solutions to customers. By combining strong market insight with technical understanding, you will position Arxada as a trusted partner and drive sustainable business expansion across your territory.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Own and deliver ambitious sales targets within the Paints & Coatings segment, driving revenue growth and market share expansion

  • Build, develop, and convert a strong commercial pipeline, securing new business while expanding strategic customer accounts

  • Establish trusted partnerships with key customers through proactive engagement and value-based solution selling

  • Lead and accelerate product qualification processes, coordinating trials to quickly convert opportunities into commercial success

  • Provide impactful technical and commercial guidance, translating product benefits into clear customer value propositions

  • Identify and develop new applications and growth opportunities within coatings, emulsions, and adjacent markets

  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to refine commercial strategies and stay ahead of the market

  • Collaborate closely with Technical Service and the Regional Business Director to define and execute winning sales strategies

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

  • Proven commercial experience in industrial chemicals, ideally within coatings, biocides, additives, or related applications

  • Strong understanding of the Paints & Coatings market, including key drivers, trends, and customer needs

  • Track record of delivering sales growth, developing new business, and managing key customer relationships

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and create impact at all levels

  • Ability to translate technical solutions into compelling commercial value

  • Self-driven, agile, and results-oriented, with a strong ownership mindset and resilience to succeed in competitive markets
