Makeup Artist – Beauty Ambassador

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Makeup Artist to bring beauty experiences to life in-store. In this role, you will guide customers through makeup and skincare products, offer expert advice, and create memorable interactions that drive sales and build brand loyalty. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in customer-facing environments, and wants flexible weekday or weekend shifts.

Territory: Sudbury, Ontario

Job Type: Part-time, Independent Contractor
Hours: 5-12 hours per week
Shifts: 5 Hour shift

Your Mission

  • Lead in-store workshops to introduce customers to makeup and skincare products
  • Engage and advise customers based on their individual needs
  • Offer samples and promote featured products
  • Generate sales and work toward achieving targets
  • Create an exceptional customer experience and support long-term client loyalty

Ideal Profile

  • Independent contractor with self-employed status (asset)
  • Experience in customer service, product demonstration, or sales
  • Strong expertise in makeup, cosmetics, and skincare
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, polished appearance and strong customer-engagement skills
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car (mandatory)
  • Smartphone for photos and reporting
  • Ability to stand for at least 5 hours and lift to 20 lbs
