Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Ensuring project targets are met (Quality, Cost and availability);
- Support in commercial quotations (Material Costing) to reach the sales strategy and goals
- Ensure supplier selection for components and/or products is in alignment with supplier strategies;
- Handle requests for quotations (RFQ) and negotiations with suppliers;
- Defining quality requirements and ensure compliance with technical standards;
- Take responsibility for material availability until the Start of Production (SOP);
- Change Management until End-of-Life of the Product
- Risk mitigation & escalation management to ensure project targets.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in engineering (Electronic or Mechanical) or business management;
- Experience as project buyer between 3-5 years, mandatory (experience on sales/commercial role will be a plus)
- Experience in an international business environment is mandatory
- Proven track record in problem solving and decision making;
- Proven track record leading complex projects projects;
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work 2 times a week in the office in Ovar
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written);
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Purchasing Tools (Ivalua or Ariba is a plus)
- Good knowledge of ERP-SAP.
