
Extended School Year Physical Therapist
Job Description
West Hartford Public Schools is seeking to fill a position for a Physical Therapist for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This position will support students from elementary to post-secondary grade levels.
Requirements:
-a valid state PT license
-prior experience as school-based Physical Therapist
-willingness to work with all ages, PreK-Post Secondary students
-4 weeks, Monday-Friday (must be available during the whole program)
-providing Physical Therapy in a small group or one-on-one setting
-using evidence based practices that align with current goals and objectives of students
-maintain session data and notes on student performance
-responsible for submitting own working hours upon request
-submit end of program progress notes
-fluent with CT-SEDS
Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of license and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days.
