Summary
The Warehouse Manager will increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by overseeing warehouse operations in a safe, secure, efficient and cost-effective manner that complies with company policy and OSHA, DOT and other applicable regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehicles; maintain a preventive maintenance program
- Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner, and maintain required records in conformance with company policy
- Supervise the proper routing, loading and preparing orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructions
- Supervise the proper handling of inter-company transfers of inventory
- Plan and schedule all inventory activities including cycle counting, inventory transactions, auditing and reporting
- Review and fill back orders; maintain back-order file
- Review, monitor and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes
- Maintain the security of warehouse and grounds to reduce shrinkage
- Operate within budget and meet delivery times
- Verify that forklift/truck operators are within regulatory compliance
- Resolve any delivery complaint issues quickly and effectively
- Manage supervisory positions

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year in similar position (4 years preferred). Product/applications experience preferred. Wholesale distribution experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to stand on your feet up to 8 hours daily
- Frequent stooping, squatting, stretching, bending and lifting are required to reach inventory items
- The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Work Environment
- Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperature
