Job Summary
The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition support for assigned positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies, source qualified candidates, manage recruitment workflows, and reduce vacancy duration for critical healthcare and support positions.
This position manages recruiting activities from requisition approval through onboarding coordination while maintaining compliance with employment laws, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, leadership, and hard-to-fill healthcare positions
- Source candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media, networking, career fairs, school partnerships, and community outreach
- Conduct recruiter phone screens and evaluate qualifications, experience, licensure, compensation expectations, and organizational fit
- Present qualified candidate slates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews
- Develop sourcing and recruitment strategies to improve applicant flow and reduce time-to-fill
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill roles
- Partner with hiring managers on interview processes, hiring timelines, and recruitment best practices
- Maintain accurate recruitment activity within the ATS and Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Coordinate background checks, licensure verification, references, and pre-employment requirements
- Monitor recruitment metrics including requisition aging, applicant flow, sourcing effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates
- Participate in job fairs, workforce development initiatives, and recruitment marketing activities
- Support onboarding coordination and workforce engagement initiatives as assigned
Job Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and recruitment technologies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Healthcare recruiting experience preferred
- Experience recruiting for nursing, allied health, clinical, or hard-to-fill healthcare positions preferred
- Experience with sourcing strategies, recruitment analytics, and workforce planning initiatives preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices preferred
