Rolling Meadows High School is seeking a strong, student-centered leader and role model to serve as our Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the 2026�2027 school year. This position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional high school experience within a diverse, supportive, and equity-focused school community.

The Head Girls Lacrosse Coach leads all aspects of the program, including long-term planning, daily operations, and alignment across all levels. The coach is responsible for creating a competitive and developmentally sound program that supports student-athletes both on and off the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the entire Girl's Lacrosse program.
• Organize and oversee practices, competitions, and team events.
• Develop and manage the program budget and equipment.
• Recruit, support, and evaluate assistant coaches.
• Coordinate with school administration, the athletic department, and booster organizations.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, community members, and media outlets.
• Plan and supervise off-season opportunities, camps, clinics, and summer programming.

• Create stability and consistency in our program using an approach that is in line with Rolling Meadows High School and District 214 values.
• Have a mission and vision for the long-term growth and success of the program.
• Create program philosophies that are consistently executed and transparent to athletes and parents and centered around providing a positive experience for our athletes.
• Foster an engaging, positive atmosphere of discipline and accountability.
• Foster a culture of support and leadership that will help student athletes grow and develop on and off the field of play.
• Demonstrate the ability and experience to increase the knowledge, skills and expertise of staff and athletes in all phases of the game.
• Delegate specific duties as needed and supervise their implementation throughout the season.
• Encourages multi-sport participation and creates an atmosphere that is conducive to athlete's participation in other sports and activities.
• Prior coaching experience is preferred

Qualifications

• ISBE or ASEP certification required.
• Previous head coaching experience at any level or varsity-level coordinating experience preferred.
