Job Description

A well-established player in the transport and logistics industry is looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee national operations and lead a growing team.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize transport operations, including route planning, subcontractor fleet allocation, and cost control.
  • Supervise LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) processes, ensuring safe and efficient cargo space usage.
  • Coordinate customs-related shipments with customs agencies.
  • Ensure effective use and maintenance of contract vehicles.
  • Lead and motivate your team, delegating tasks and fostering strong performance.
  • Build long-term relationships with subcontractors, negotiate with contractors, and collaborate with sales and international forwarding teams.


What we expect:

  • Higher education in economics, transport, logistics, business management, or engineering.
  • Several years of experience in logistics/transport management, including at least 2 years in team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of the forwarding industry and Polish distribution networks.
  • Proven ability in budgeting, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of transport IT systems (TMS, telematics).
  • Initiative, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • English proficiency is an advantage.
