Key Responsibilities – Senior Full-stack Developer Roles in iGaming, Sofia
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web solutions, covering frontend and backend components of high-volume online gaming platforms
- Participate in architectural decisions and implement scalable microservices used by millions of players globally
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, DevOps Engineers, and fellow Developers to deliver robust features from requirements to release
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using a modern JavaScript framework (such as React or Angular) and backend technology (Node.js, .NET, or Java)
- Champion software engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, documentation, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and real-time data feeds within the iGaming tech ecosystem
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve performance, player experience, and the technical stack
- Support troubleshooting, incident response, and the ongoing optimisation of production platforms
- Keep up to date with industry trends and support knowledge sharing across the tech team
Skills and Qualifications – Full-stack Developer Careers in Online Gaming
- 5+ years of proven experience in full-stack development, ideally within iGaming, Fintech, or other high-traffic digital product environments
- Advanced skills in JavaScript and frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (frontend), plus strong experience in Node.js, .NET Core, Java, or equivalent (backend)
- Practised in RESTful API design, database modelling (SQL/NoSQL), and integrating cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on knowledge of unit, integration, and performance testing for web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and agile environments
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices and GDPR/regulatory compliance in online gaming
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and strong attention to detail
- Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills in multicultural, distributed teams
- Fluent English (spoken and written); eligible to work in Bulgaria and available for on-site work in Sofia
