Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with identifying and sourcing automotive parts, ensuring accurate inventory management, and delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and service staff in selecting and purchasing automotive parts and accessories
- Accurately identify parts using catalogs, software, and manufacturer resources
- Maintain inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking parts
- Process transactions, including invoicing and payments
- Handle returns, warranties, and core charges efficiently
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a dealership environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with parts lookup systems and basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
