7.0 hours per day, $25.00 - $35.00 (commensurate with experience)
We are seeking a passionate, student-centered staff member to serve in the position of Restorative Practices Liaison. This role is ideal for someone who values relationship- building, has experience with student behavioral and academic interventions, and is ready to lead with a restorative mindset in support of our students and school culture.
Responsibilities:
- Implement multi-tiered interventions such as check in check out (CICO), behavior charts, sensory breaks, and reward systems
- Conducts observations and collects classroom documentation needed for referral, planning, and reintegration procedures.
- Models and aides staff on implementation of behavior intervention plans as well as evidence-based methodology to support student learning.
- Maintains data collection and records student progress on behavior and/or academic goals as designed by Restorative Practices Coordinator and Facilitator.
- Participate in frequent restorative practices team meetings.
- Participates in professional learning as required or requested by the District.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Must pass a LiveScan Criminal Records Check.
Qualifications:
- Two years successful post high school education, enrollment in a Bachelor's program or related field is preferred
- Experience in a position requiring interpersonal interaction skills, knowledge of strategies to support students with academic and behavioral challenges, knowledge of evidence based instruction strategies and progress monitoring is preferred
- A relationship-builder who maintains healthy boundaries and supports student growth
- A team player who enjoys collaboration and values student voice and success
- Someone who believes in improving, not punishing, student behavior
