Survey/Geospatial Technician, Austin, TX: Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey/Geospatial Technician to join an established survey team based out of our north Austin, TX office. You will need at least 5 years of experience as a Survey Technician producing survey maps and plats. Valid Texas Driver’s License. Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. Solid understanding of land surveying principles, techniques, and terminology. Software skills: Civil 3D or Open Roads (ORD), Trimble Business Center (TBC), Microsoft tools, i.e., Excel, Teams, etc. Basic knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and its application in surveying. Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and maps.
