At Dallas Retirement Village, our Relief Hosts play a key role in ensuring residents and visitors receive outstanding service in our dining venues. This position supports dining room operations by coordinating guest seating, assisting service staff, addressing resident concerns, and helping maintain a welcoming and organized dining environment.

What You'll Do
Relief Hosts help oversee dining room operations while ensuring residents and guests receive exceptional hospitality and service.
Responsibilities include greeting and seating residents and guests, managing reservations, supporting meal service operations, assisting with staff coordination, resolving dining concerns, maintaining dining room standards, ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance, supporting special events, and assisting with training and mentoring dining staff.
You'll work closely with the Dining Room Manager and service team to create a positive dining experience while maintaining high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and resident satisfaction.
What You Bring
- Minimum one year of hospitality, restaurant, food service, or dining room leadership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example and support team success
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler's Card required
- OLCC Service Permit required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle basic cash transactions
- Dependable, professional, and hospitality-focused
