R&D Technical Intern
Why This Role Matters
The R&D Technical Intern will support product development, laboratory testing, and process improvement initiatives that help drive innovation and product quality within our manufacturing operations. This internship provides hands-on experience working with industrial chemistries while gaining exposure to research and development, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.

What You Will Do
- Assist the R&D team with product formulation, laboratory testing, and process development activities.
- Support testing and evaluation of silicone, acrylic, epoxy, and aqueous chemistries.
- Perform calibration and validation of laboratory equipment and solutions.
- Help troubleshoot production and quality challenges alongside R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and organized test data.
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and laboratory safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement and special R&D projects as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
- Previous laboratory experience through coursework, research, or internships preferred.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Interest in product development, chemical formulation, and manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Compensation Information:
This is a paid internship opportunity with an hourly pay range of $21–$24 per hour, based on education level, experience, and qualifications.
