Position: Materials Management Associate

Your time spent at each location will be determined based on priority needs.
What You will Do:
Onsite in Rockford at the Customer location :
- Support shipping completing daily audits
- Provide support in the shipping area as needed
Onsite in Belvidere at the Customer 3PL (Third Party Logistics Center)
- Manage and coordinate non-conforming information report for resolution of receipts that are unable to be received. One report published daily with assignment of responsible party
- Work and communicate daily with Delivery Assurance, Planning and XPO to bring closure to non-conforming receipts. Approx 10-30 per day
- Troubleshoot daily issues that arise at the 3PL and work to resolve.
- Creation and distribution of monthly cycle counts. Two different reports run on the first working day of the month
- Maintain working relationship with current provider
- Support inventory control with reconciliation of discrepancies. Perform 0-10 adjustments in the system per day
- Perform task and projects to support daily operations on days when Non-Conforming report, actions and follow up are completed
- Create and maintain excel and power point files for key operations. Will vary depending on what the business needs are. Possibly 1 to 2 a month
What You Will Bring:
- HS diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with mid -level proficiency with excel required (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, graphs and charts etc….)
- Experience with SAP highly preferred
- Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills required
Pay Range: $26.92-$28.85 p/h

Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located Rockford/Belvidere, IL area (8 miles apart)
- You must be able to commute to and from the locations with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Between the 3PL location in Belvidere, IL and onsite in Rockford, IL. approx. 8 miles once a day
Citizenship requirement: Due to nature of work, US Citizenship is required
