Key Responsibilities
The Civil & Structural Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for civil and structural components in oil & gas facilities such as refineries, pipelines, offshore/onshore plants, and petrochemical complexes. The role involves close coordination with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, standards-compliant design documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD for:
- General arrangement (GA) drawings
- Layouts and plans
- Sections and elevations
- Develop 3D models and plant layouts using AutoCAD and Plant 3D
- Produce detailed structural drawings, including:
- Foundations (pile, raft, isolated footing)
- Steel structures (pipe racks, platforms, supports etc…)
- Concrete structure
- Preparation of bill of materials
- Preparation of as built drawings
Work Experience
Software and Tools:
· AutoCAD (2D Drafting -advanced level)
· Plant 3D (3D modeling and plant layout)
· Navis works freedom.
· Tekla structures(RCC and STEEL)
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
Codes and standards Compliance in drafting:
· ACI318, AISC360, ASCE 7-10/15/22.
· IBC.
· Euro codes.
Experience:
· 10 to 15 years in oil & gas / petrochemical / EPC or any Industrial projects
