Project Overview and Responsibilities
We are seeking a 12+ year experienced and highly skilled Architect – Production Printing to lead architecture, design, and technical strategy for enterprise-scale production printing solutions. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in production print workflows, digital printing technologies, enterprise software architecture, cloud integration, performance optimization, and large-scale distributed systems.
This role requires strong leadership capabilities to collaborate with global stakeholders, product teams, OEM partners, firmware teams, and offshore engineering teams in delivering high-performance, scalable, and reliable production printing solutions.
- Define and drive end-to-end technical architecture for production printing platforms and workflow solutions.
- Lead architecture design for high-volume print processing systems, print workflow automation, RIP integration, and print job management.
- Design scalable and secure enterprise solutions for production printing ecosystems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define technology roadmap and solution strategy.
- Architect cloud-enabled and hybrid print management solutions.
- Drive modernization initiatives including microservices, containerization, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical leadership in areas such as:
- Print workflow optimization
- Job scheduling and queue management
- Color management systems
- Variable Data Printing (VDP)
- PDF/PostScript/PCL processing
- Raster Image Processing (RIP)
- ICC Profile Management
- Production printer controller architecture
- Lead performance tuning and scalability improvements for high-throughput printing systems.
- Ensure system reliability, security, maintainability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical risk assessments.
- Work closely with global customers and cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and solution delivery.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
