La Mesa RV is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of workers’ compensation claims while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You’ll play a key role in supporting employees through work-related injuries and helping maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive workplace.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in workers’ compensation, preferably in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of state and federal workers’ compensation laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the workers’ compensation process, including claim intake, case management, and resolution
• Ensure compliance with state and federal workers’ compensation laws and regulations
• Support employees throughout the claims process, providing guidance and assistance after work-related injuries
• Investigate claims to determine eligibility and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain detailed, organized, and up-to-date case records
• Communicate effectively with employees, managers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, and other departments to develop and improve policies and procedures
• Monitor changes in workers’ compensation laws and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance
• Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for employees and leadership
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
• Manage a high volume of cases while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Resolve issues and complex cases using strong problem-solving skills
