Experience should include: Proven ability to operate within multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with medical specialists and internal management. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, occupational safety standards, and relevant statutory compliance such as the Factories Act and ISO/OHSAS systems. Expertise in maintaining medical records and managing employee health data confidentially and systematically. Demonstrated skills in conducting health awareness sessions and training healthcare staff. Capability to manage long-term health monitoring and chronic disease follow-up. Strong organisational skills to handle administrative duties including medical billing and reporting. Experience in implementing health and safety improvements aligned with industrial best practices and legal standards. Applicants with experience in a factory or industrial occupational health setting will have a significant advantage. General Requirements Applicants for the Factory Medical Officer position should meet the following key requirements to ensure the high standards expected at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd: Medical Qualifications: Must possess a relevant medical degree with post-graduate qualifications or certifications in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine preferred. Certification & Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to statutory health regulations, labour laws, and occupational safety standards is essential. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with employees, management, and healthcare providers. Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical conduct in all medical practices. Problem Solving: Ability to assess health issues expediently and make informed decisions regarding employee care and safety interventions. Technological Proficiency: Comfortable managing medical records using digital systems aligned with ISO/OHSAS/TS/MQS requirements. Training & Development: Willingness to train and mentor medical attendants and support ongoing staff development initiatives. Adaptability: Capacity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and respond to a variety of occupational health challenges.
