Job Description
DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. No other platform provides an end-to-end solution like ours—and our track record speaks for itself, with over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns. We power the largest online capital raises for customers like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM) and many others, with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are quickly expanding our horizons and are seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.
Who are you
As an Enterprise Account Manager at Dealmaker, you'll own the most important relationships in our business. You'll serve as the executive-level partner for a focused portfolio of 8-12 enterprise customers, guiding each one through the full lifecycle of their capital raise, from kickoff through close and into their next campaign.
This isn't a reactive support role. You'll set the agenda, run structured program reviews, coordinate a dedicated delivery pod, and build the kind of trust that turns a single raise into a long-term partnership. The accounts you manage are high-value and high-complexity, and the customers you'll work with expect a strategic peer, not a point of contact.
If you've spent your career building deep enterprise relationships, driving cross-functional programs, and finding the next opportunity before the customer thinks to ask, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
Executive Relationship Leadership: You are the primary relationship owner across the full raise lifecycle. You'll establish executive-level trust from the moment a deal closes, lead the kickoff and governance alignment, and ensure customers feel confident at every stage (from onboarding through raise/campaign close-out).
Program Delivery Leadership: You own the outcome, not the execution. An Implementation Manager, Marketing Services Project Manager, and Deal Support resources each carry accountability within their lanes, but the overall program success sits with you. That requires staying ahead of cross-functional dependencies, setting clear expectations across the team, and ensuring nothing falls between the cracks.
Campaign Milestone Execution: You'll own a defined set of campaign milestones across every raise (e.g. account plan delivery, on-time launch, closing period strategy). These milestones aren't administrative, they're the moments where your impact on the customer's experience is most visible.
Escalation and Issue Management: You're the first line of leadership when something goes wrong. You'll identify risks early, manage escalations before they escalate further, and resolve issues within defined SLA timeframes. Customers should leave difficult conversations with more confidence in DealMaker, not less.
Repeat Business Development through Relationship Depth: Your job doesn't end when the offering closes. As the raise winds down, you'll read the relationship, gauging customer confidence, campaign outcomes, and forward momentum. You'll hand back a warm, qualified lead to the Account Executive with the context and timing needed to make the next conversation count. Referrals that come from customers who trust you are also part of how your impact is recognized and rewarded.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you'll be measured on:
Campaign Milestone Adherence - the percentage of your accounts that hit all defined program milestones on time
Issue Resolution SLA - the percentage of issues resolved within defined service standards
Referrals and Repeat Business - new business sourced from your portfolio, rewarded through a performance kicker
The best EAMs at Dealmaker run their book like a program lead: disciplined on milestones, proactive with customers, and always thinking one raise ahead.
What Skills You Need
You have 5+ years in Enterprise Account Management or Customer Success, ideally within B2B SaaS or a technology-driven environment, owning named accounts with measurable retention, expansion, or renewal outcomes. You've held relationships at the VP or C-suite level and can point to deals where your presence was the deciding factor.
You know how to run a program. You've owned structured deliverables, managed timelines, and kept cross-functional teams aligned, even when you weren't their manager. You communicate proactively, not reactively.
You understand the commercial value of a well-managed relationship. You've recognized expansion or renewal signals within existing accounts and acted on them, not by selling, but by staying close enough to know when the timing is right and making a clean, well-informed handoff to the team that closes it.
You're composed under pressure. You've managed escalations with grace, naming problems honestly, driving resolution, and keeping the customer relationship intact throughout.
You adapt. You've worked in environments where the playbook was still being written, and you helped write it.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in capital markets, private equity, investment banking, or financial services
Background in marketing services, advertising, or campaign-driven client work
Familiarity with regulated industries or compliance-adjacent customer environment.
