Before and After Care - Assumption Academy

Assumption Academy in Broadview Heights is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our Before & After School Care Program for the upcoming school year. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children in a faith-filled school environment and are looking for flexible hours before and/or after the school day.

Responsibilities include supervising students in grades Preschool�8, assisting with homework, organizing games and activities, monitoring student safety, and creating a welcoming and positive environment for all children. Staff members will work collaboratively with school administration and fellow caregivers to support students and families.

Qualified candidates should have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and structured environment. Candidates must be dependable, patient, and able to work well as part of a team. High school diploma required; college coursework in education or a related field is preferred but not required. 

All employees must complete VIRTUS training and meet Diocese of Cleveland requirements.

Typical hours include morning care (approximately 6:40�7:40 a.m.) and/or after school care (approximately 2:30�6:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday during the school year.
