We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Communication Specialist to support our growing service department and help deliver an outstanding ownership experience to our customers.
About the Position
The Service Communication Specialist plays a vital role in supporting service department production, customer retention, and appointment scheduling efforts for Steven Kia. This position is responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer communication, coordinating service appointments, following up with customers, and helping maintain efficient service lane traffic.
This role is often the first point of contact for service customers and requires professionalism, urgency, organization, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers while supporting dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Answer inbound service calls promptly and professionally
● Schedule, confirm, and reschedule customer service appointments
● Follow up with missed appointments and declined service recommendations
● Assist with outbound maintenance reminder and retention campaigns
● Utilize CRM systems daily to document customer communication and appointment activity
● Help maintain efficient service appointment flow and shop capacity
● Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and service management
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
● Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience during every interaction
Qualifications
● Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
● Automotive or dealership experience is a plus
● Strong phone and communication skills
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
● Basic computer and CRM proficiency
● Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
● Valid driver’s license required
Compensation
$40,000 – $60,000 annually based on performance
Compensation structure includes base pay plus performance incentives.
