Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY
The Caesar Rodney School District is accepting applications for Principal of Magnolia Middle School. Magnolia Middle School is configured for grade levels 6 through 8 in Magnolia, Delaware. The current student population is approximately 400 students.
QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate must possess:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and / or certification for School Principal
- Successful experience as a building administrator
- Successful experience as a classroom teacher of at least 5 years; middle level or secondary experience strongly preferred
- Must possess or be eligible for certification as School Principal and Assistant School Principal
- Strong leadership, consensus building and communication skills
- Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for improvement of student learning and achievement
- Proven ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community
- An ability to facilitate change for continued student improvement and staff development
- Commitment to high academic standards and creating a rigorous, fun, inclusive academic atmosphere
