Use knowledge of, and experience with, automotive manufacturing industry repair work including necessary disassembly and re-assembly of production equipment as well as application of root cause analysis in multiple technical work areas to: manage the safety, productivity, training, morale, and security of a team of ten (10) to fifteen (15) Maintenance Technicians for project management and workshop involvement; monitor production equipment and meet established equipment availability targets; act as the technical and disciplinary lead of the group; administer company policies and procedures; assume ownership and accountability for personnel management including evaluations/reviews, coaching, counseling, resource planning and team building; coordinate schedules and workflow for the team; plan, control, and approve vacation, employee shifts, qualifications, and schedules; drive continuous improvement for production processes, efficiency, product quality, environment, and ergonomics; identify trouble areas and resolve issues; facilitate and participate in regularly scheduled meetings; introduce measures for positive development of employees; resolve complex employee issues; manage flow of communication to the team and to management; oversee, organize, and coordinate all work content of the group; motivate, support, develop, and challenge team members to their optimal potential; perform other duties as assigned; prepare reports based on data; present findings to management and others; provide feedback to all involved departments to improve overall performance of the plant; resolve issues that are varied and non-routine; and may order materials and/or spare parts.
High School diploma (or foreign equivalent) plus three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment evidencing demonstrable ability to perform stated job duties.
New hires subject to drug test/background check. 40 hours per week 7 am to 7:30 pm.
