Quality Engineer – Quality Systems (internal recruitment)

As a Quality Engineer – Quality Systems, you will be responsible for supporting production processes in the area of quality issue resolution and for ensuring process stability and compliance with applicable standards.
Your role will focus on root cause analysis, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, and cooperation with Production, Engineering and R&D to drive continuous improvement of product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities

• You are central contact person for quality assurance and quality assurance systems topics on site
• You coordinate Quality Assurance Work Packages, timelines and ensure milestone achievement
• You align quality standards and system requirements with central teams and support implementation in Jawor
• You ensure proper usage of quality systems (e.g. SQC, QUP, PFERD, ZASM, PQD) to support defect management and production
• You monitor data quality and ensure correct defect logging, data consistency and transparency of issues
• You act as interface between different departments to ensure systems reflect real production processes
• You identify improvement potentials in quality processes and systems and drive change requests
• You support production processes (Q-gates, rework) through system optimization and better visibility for shopfloor
• You represent Quality Assurance in project meetings, highlight risks and escalate issues when needed
• You support ramp-up in Jawor ensuring required quality maturity and system stability

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related field
• Experience in quality data management, production environment and project work
• Good understanding of quality and production processes (e.g. Q-gate, rework, campaigns) and system interaction
• Experience with quality systems and data analysis is an advantage Very good MS-Office capabilities
• Fluent English, German is a plus
• Very good MS-Office and AI capabilities
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
