About the role The Triage team are the first point of contact for workers and those close to them seeking advice about WHS notifications they have lodged. The team are responsible for triaging, assessing, deescalating and prioritising matters against SafeWork NSW’s triage frameworks. This role provides a range of administrative and project support services to support the team and broader business. You will be responsible for a range of support activities, including: Coordinate the reconciliation, processing and associated admin tasks for incidents, requests for service (RFS) and enquiries received after hours. Prepare written communication for requests for service and workplace incidents received by SafeWork NSW Provision of high-level customer service to a wide range of stakeholders via telephone and in writing Advising on complex regulatory matters in a professional and customer focused manner Actively contributing to a positive, supportive team environment To learn more about the role, please click here to download the role description. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities at once while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. High level written communication skills with the ability to understand and translate comprehensive and/or technical issues. Ability to interpret and apply Work Health and Safety legislation, Codes of Practice, National Triage Framework and National Compliance and Enforcement Policy. Strong analytical skills A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. Superior knowledge and expertise of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and Planner.
