Why this role matters

The Salvation Army is one of Australia’s largest providers of alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, offering withdrawal management, residential and nonresidential rehabilitation, and harmreduction programs. Our services provide a place of safety, dignity, and hope for people seeking recovery. The Geelong Withdrawal Unit supports individuals through medically supervised detox, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional needs are met in a traumainformed and culturally safe environment.

About the role

As an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse, this is your opportunity to deliver highquality withdrawal management nursing care, including admissions, discharges, clinical observations, medication administration, and support for clients throughout their detox journey. What you will bring

  • Relevant Nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
  • Completed or willingness to complete Cert IV AOD competencies within 12 months.
