ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage Agile projects from inception to closure.
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Track project performance and make necessary adjustments to meet project objectives.
- Guide the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Manage release activities across teams to ensure smooth, predictable deployments
- Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate third-party deliverables to align with internal timelines and quality standards.
- Identify and remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments.
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders to manage and negotiate project scope and ensure product backlog is in good shape.
- Ensure projects deliver desired results within time and budget constraints.
- Monitor team dynamics and team accountability related to delivery commitments.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- 5-8 years of experience in Agile project teams or related roles.
- Experience in software development or IT project management.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
