Job Description
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Sales Coordinator, Theatrical Distribution for Mexico to support sales and distribution strategies for all theatrical releases in Mexico. This role will coordinate the operational and administrative and end to end booking process along with the Booking & Distribution Manager. The role also actively supports weekly performance, competitive intelligence and box office analysis. This position reports to the Head of Mexico Theatrical Distribution.
Key job responsibilities
• Upload approved exhibitors’ bookings and holdovers into the system
• Coordinates DCP (Features and Trailers) delivery and/or shipping for booked films, screenings, rating submissions and premieres.
• Requests and validates delivery of KDM’s (Key Delivery Message) files
• Coordinates and executes requests for ratings submission for Features and Trailers in Mexico (RTC)
• Supports the Booking & Distribution Manager with Market Analysis and Box Office and film performance Reports.
• Coordinate and support the International Theatrical Financial Analyst control of receivables and/or adjustments of bookings and grosses into Amazon MGM Studio Booking System and Amazon’s Financial pipeline, sales, terms and exhibitor’ payments.
• Supports the Booking & Distribution Manager with communication and booking requests for independent exhibitors, films festivals and special screenings in Mexico
• Coordinates and supports the Booking & Distribution Manager with external data sending to Comscore Mexico

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in theatrical distribution, sales, or administrative positions in the entertainment industry
- Knowledge of Mexico’s theatrical exhibition market dynamics and trends
- Familiarity with film industry economics, revenue models, and box office analytics
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions
