  • Ongoing Full-Time
  • Location Albury with at least 50% presence in the Albury office each week to maintain office operation.  
  • A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months
  • Competitive remuneration ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 plus super & annual leave loading.

 

We are seeking a and Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative support to the Director, Educational Leadership in the Hume Network, with overarching responsibilities across Public Schools NSW.

 

This role handles official correspondence, dynamic logistics, and diary management, while supporting schools with policy and procedures guidance.

 

You will deliver quality service, maintain robust records, foster stakeholder collaboration, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and responsiveness, ensuring policies and initiatives are carried out in a targeted, timely, and effective manner.

About you 

  • Knowledge of corporate systems for e.g. EWMS, Feedback and Complaints, CM TRIM for records management, SAP, SCOUT and SPARO.
  • You excel at delivering high‑quality administrative support to senior leaders, with proven experience in word processing, complex reporting, and multimedia presentations.
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You are adept at records management and data integrity, ensuring compliant, timely documentation and effective information flow across teams.
  • You build strong stakeholder relationships, collaborating across Public Schools NSW to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and service delivery.
  • You are tech‑savvy, embracing new tools and systems to streamline processes, generate insights, and support evidence‑based decision making.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, professional presentation, and the ability to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are adaptable and flexible, with the capacity to be deployed across Public Schools NSW to meet evolving business needs and strategic objectives.
  • You show a proactive, innovative mindset, contributing to an organisational culture that values customer focus, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

 

Essential requirements of the role

  • A valid and current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
