Pallet Maker/Utility – ND Sheets

Job Summary: ND Sheets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pallet Maker/Utility is responsible for building, repairing, and assembling wooden pallets according to company specifications and customer requirements. This role requires the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and pallet-building equipment while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build wooden pallets using pneumatic nail guns, saws, and other hand tools
- Repair damaged pallets by replacing boards and reinforcing structures
- Inspect pallets to ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met
- Measure and cut lumber to proper dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Load, stack, and move materials and completed pallets as needed
- Identify defective materials and report issues to supervisors
- Meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Assist with general warehouse or production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with good attendance and work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and industrial environments
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods
