The opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Officer to join our Melbourne-based Motorcycle team. This position will see you provide delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.

Your new role
Management of lodgements through to total loss for Motorcycle Claims utilising multiple claims systems and processes
Maintaining positive stakeholder relationships with the insured, agents and service providers
Interpreting basic policy coverage and determining if coverage applies to claims submitted
Receiving, recording and processing incoming insurance claims
Authorizing payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner and ensuring timely issuance of disbursements and
Identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and arranging investigations.
About you
Previous experience in a similar role within Motor Claims is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal
Strong negotiation, organisational, and time management skills.
A quick learner who is comfortable with technology
While not essential, a passion for motorcycles would be a plus!
