Job Description
Overview
Jackson Dawson is seeking an Automotive In-Dealership Facilitator to support a dealership training program for a major automotive client. This role is focused on improving the performance of sales and customer-facing teams through hands-on, in-person training.
The trainer will deliver programs centered on customer service excellence, relationship building, and foundational sales techniques. This individual should bring experience from automotive retail or a similar customer-facing sales environment, along with a strong passion for coaching teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Employment Details
- Employment Type: W-2, project-based
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: 12 weeks, with potential extension
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, in-person training sessions on customer service best practices and core sales fundamentals
- Coach dealership staff on rapport building, active listening, and identifying customer needs
- Train teams across the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement through closing
- Reinforce Sales 101 principles, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, objection handling, and closing
- Provide real-time coaching through observation, role-play, and one-on-one feedback
- Partner with dealership leadership to identify performance gaps and tailor training solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned dealership teams
- Participate in ongoing trainer development sessions
- Complete weekly administrative tasks, including time/expense reporting and status updates
- Support additional program needs as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales training, dealership operations, or customer experience coaching
- Automotive retail experience preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to teach and reinforce core sales skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt training styles as needed
- Proven coaching ability with a focus on driving behavioral change
- Comfortable working on-site in a dealership environment

Additional Requirements
