We're looking for experienced, relationship-driven Sales Managers to join our dynamic team and help drive group business, meetings, conferences, and special events at one of the largest hospitality venues in the Brazos Valley.
In this role, you'll cultivate existing client relationships while actively developing new business opportunities. Working alongside an exceptional team, you'll help organizations and event planners create memorable experiences from initial inquiry through successful execution.
The Hilton College Station Hotel & Conference Center features more than 300 guest rooms and 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. With an exciting new rooftop bar and restaurant opening soon, there's never been a better time to join our growing team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned market segment.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with clients, meeting planners, and community partners.
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals, market share objectives, and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with Conference Services and Operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences from booking through event completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Develop a marketing strategy to analyze historical, current and future hotel/market trends and create a selling strategy to balance hotel objectives and maximize revenue potentials.
- Identify business opportunities by being aware of prospective clients and evaluating their position in the marketplace to leverage the sales relationship to maximize revenue.
- Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth.
- Develops customer profiles and maintains an effective trace system, including trace dates and references, to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.
- Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel and departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the Sales office and prospective clients.
- Maintain well-documented, accurate, organized and up-to-date file management system to serve client and employer in the most expedient, organized, and knowledgeable manner.
- Develop strong customer relationships through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services to include marketing strategy, sales techniques, and tactics to capitalize on profit margins.
- Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
- Salary for this position is: $70,000-$85,000 plus bonus
Skills and Abilities:
- Hotel experience in a sales or leadership role
- Excel and other Microsoft programs
- Knowledge in the use of Delphi and OnQ computers software
- Extensive knowledge of negotiating and sales procedures associated with the hotel industry.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflect the Foundation Image.
- Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with department/hotel
- .Communicate information and hotel services to management, staff and guests.
